Egg Sandwich
… basically a big chunk of YUM in between two pieces of bread.
This is yet another one of my attempts to camouflage eggs and trick myself into eating them for breakfast. And this Egg Sandwich is a masterpiece. You don’t have to add the cheese, and you can swap out the ham for something else that would make you happier… but this is what I chose. I highly suggest this combination, but let me know how you make your Egg Sandwich!
INGREDIENTS
Sliced Bread
2 eggs
Shredded Cheese
Ham
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Grapeseed Oil
1. Heat your frying pan on medium, and use a little bit of grapeseed oil to coat the pan so the eggs don’t stick.
2. Begin making your toast! For those of you who have never done this before, you need to put one piece of bread in each side of the toaster, for a grand total of two pieces.
3. Begin scrambling your eggs!
4. When the eggs are near fully-cooked, I like to add pepper, a dash of salt, and some garlic powder. <– SECRET INGREDIENT! 🙂
5. Mix it all together so the pepper, salt and garlic powder are distributed evenly among the scrambled eggs.
6. Grab your toast from the toaster!
7. Put a slice or two of ham on the toast.
8. When the eggs are done, pile them on top of the ham.
8. Add cheese on top of the eggs.
9. Use your handy-dandy second piece of toast to seal the sandwich.
10. If you’re an over-achiever, feel free to cut this masterpiece in half.
BOOOOOOM. You did it. I knew you would.
